The Franklins are a demon hunting family who are always on the move, but when a past evil threatens the family and their mission, they must learn to confront the demons within before the family is ripped apart.

SYNOPSIS:

Aubrey, a local teen from Happy Hollow, is missing. Pastor George and First Lady Darlene are having a peaceful supper at home when they’re suddenly interrupted by their dog and a loud sound in their yard. Pastor George opens the door to inspect the sound and is viciously attacked a demon. Pastor George is mauled and mangled to death by this demon.

John Franklin, the oldest of the Franklin children has taken of pastoral duties of the Happy Hollow church since Pastor George’s death. He introduces himself to the congregation while his family sits in attendance. Joe and Marie Franklin are the parents of the Franklin children. There’s Jamie, Andre, Phil, Tommy, Thad, Bodda, Mattie, and Paula. Also, Marie is pregnant with twins. After church, the Franklins go home to train the younger Franklins in the art of demon hunting.

Phil Franklin has been sneaking around, keeping in contact with the most recent demon in town. The demon he’s in contact with is the missing local teen, Aubrey. Phil and Aubrey were baseball teammates, friends, and had a secret romance. Joe, John, Jamie, and Dre all show up to exorcise and finally lay Aubrey to rest. A battle ensues and Phil is conflicted with so many emotions. The family eventually defeats Aubrey and find a way to do away with his corpse before local authorities find him.

The final act of Happy Hollow’s pilot episode is surrounded with more questions than answers. Everything seems to be normal as the Franklin family is having their normal Sunday dinner. There’s an unwelcome guest at the door who comes in the form of Cookie, Joe’s long lost first love. She’s a powerful demon who reveals to Joe they have a child together, Lovie.
