This film takes the audience through the short-term impact that the trauma resulting from the violent act of sexual assault has on the young girl, as well as what all of this might mean for the person she wanted to be and the person that she will now become.

SYNOPSIS:

A Dog Without Shame is based on a true story from the life of the director, Maggie McKeown. It is an exploration of trauma and how a person can lose themselves in another person. A young girl is sexually assaulted by a young man/sexual partner whom she thought she could trust.
