A young undergraduate and her three friends must find a way to party on Halloween night while their bitter, scheming club president plots to have them suspended.

SYNOPSIS:

Dani and her friends Emily, Kylie, and Michelle are four undergraduates in their senior year. All they want to do is spend their last undergraduate Halloween weekend partying. Unfortunately for them, Ryan and Jessica, the unpopular respective president and vice president of the World Affairs Program which Emily, Kylie, and Michelle are all a part of, have just decreed than any member caught drinking in the seven day period leading up to a conference will be banned from said upcoming conference. Ryan resents Emily for breaking up with him before and wants to prevent her from winning a record breaking gavel at the upcoming conference in Washington D.C. Dani and her friends come up with a plan to sneak out on Halloween which they name 'Operation Blackout.'

The plan involves making Jessica believe that Ryan is in love with her and getting Jessica to distract Ryan, who lives across the street from the girls, on Saturday night while the girls sneak out. Michelle feels guilty about the plan because she and Jessica have been friends since freshman year despite Jessica's continued mistreatment of Michelle. Meanwhile, the head of the campus vegan association (known to everyone as the Vegan Girl) has threatened to call the cops on the water polo boys' Halloween party unless she is allowed to serve vegan burgers at the party. Dani is sent to negotiate with the Vegan Girl.

On Halloween night, Dani and the girls manage to sneak out but Ryan catches them leaving. Ryan and Jessica track them to the Fiji frat party where the girls make a pit stop to pick up a speaker from Dani's friend, Patrick. Ryan sneaks into the frat house but the girls manage to evade him and head off to the water polo party although Ryan and Dani catch a glimpse of each other. Meanwhile, Ryan is caught and thrown out of the frat house.

At the boys' party, Michelle becomes extremely drunk. One of Kylie's friends, Arturo posts a selfie on social media of himself at the party in which Michelle and Dani are clearly visible drinking in the background which Ryan sees. Ryan and Jessica head out to catch them again but this time on a moped as Jessica's tires have been punctured by some business frat members who hate Ryan. Michelle runs away from the party.

Ryan and Jessica show up to a house party but at the wrong house and are thrown out there as well. They hitch a ride with two girls who are heading to the water polo party as well. Dani, Emily, and Kylie manage to catch Michelle and bring her back to the party where she throws up. The girls try to cheer up Michelle by playing beer pong but the boys' backyard deck collapses in the middle of the party. Ryan and Jessica show up shortly after and Ryan snaps multiple incriminating photos of Emily, Kylie, and Michelle and threatens to call the police before leaving. Jessica accuses Michelle of being a terrible friend. Upset, Michelle blames Dani for the night's events.

Dani almost gives up but is cheered up by her friend, Grant. Dani and her friends resolve to not let Jessica and Ryan get away with their crimes. Grant procures three mopeds and the gang chase Jessica and Ryan eventually catching up to them and forcing them off the road. Ryan accuses Emily, Kylie, and Michelle of being horrible people but Michelle breaks his glasses and finally stands up to Jessica for all the hurt she caused her. Kylie breaks Ryan's phone and Grant breaks Jessica's.

The water polo party breaks up just before the police arrive. Everyone manages to escape just in time and the boys manage to evade trouble with the cops by blaming the deck breaking on its old age. Emily wins her record breaking gavel at the D.C conference and announces her run for president. The film ends with Dani and her friends reminiscing on their night full of shenanigans.
