Three foul-mouthed, lacrosse-loving, dorks stumble upon a lacrosse stick with out-of-this-world powers.
SYNOPSIS:
Asher, the awkward son of a legendary lacrosse family, and his two foul-mouthed best friends, Wyatt and J.B., are outsiders trying to find their way, until they stumble upon a lacrosse stick with otherworldly powers.
Boys & Bows' creative tone is inspired by classic 80’s coming-of-age, under-dog films such as Teen Wolf, The Monster Squad, The Goonies, E.T, Bad News Bears and Stand By Me. As well as more recent films like Superbad, Good Boys and Netflix’s Stranger Things. Combining this universal human experience in the lacrosse hotbed of Long Island, the viewer gets the perfect pull of nostalgia and throes of moral growth that explores relatable characters, their unbreakable bond, and a pension for profanity, as they face the complexities and pressures of being teenagers. The story explores friendship, expectation, identity, and passion, and answers the question “is it the bow or the archer that defines the man”.

Hi Chandler. What you have in your logline is more set-up than logline, we need a bit more information, about the goal and stakes of the story. It definitely sounds fun though.
