SYNOPSIS:

NANO is a very beautiful, skillful teenage girl from a village in Rwanda who is forced by her selfish uncle to marry an ALHAJI just to pay off her late father's debt. On her weeding night after being spared by Alhaji — who thinks she need little time to mourn her late dad — Nano runs into the arms of her best friend ARTHUR the dada mechanic who is quite older than her for safety. After little deliberation, to preserve her dignity as a woman, Arthur helps Nano flew the village that night to Kigali where his aunt (MALIMA) stays. Kigali seems like a place of safety for Nano, but she inadvertently loses her virginity to Malima's husband. RICO, a struggling low-life artist in Calabar works for an Irish man, a con art collector. Due to the irish man's ill treatment towards him he decides to go back into the street Hawking his art for survival. There he finds a new family of friends. After many unfortunate incidents, Nano leaves Kigali and heads to Bunbanza to begin a new life, which she thinks she will eventually find, but she gets kidnapped by human traffickers. Fortunately she gets saved by Arthur, but fate sperates them again, bringing her to Rico and his friends in Calabar where she decides to live as a man. What will become of Nano the Traveller who seeks nothing but safety?
