Howdy do! I'm a composer of theatre, film, and concert works. www.leoschwartz.com. I'm also a Jeff award winner in 2013 for my musical "Under A Rainbow Flag" (renamed "HONOR"), which won for best new work and best musical production (A first in the 40 year history of Chicago Jeff's). My films scores have won awards at major festivals as have my other works of theatre. Monday night, the 21st, is a developmental reading of my new musical "TILL -Mamie's Story". The webseries that I score "Least Favorite Love Songs" is up for a Webby! This month the Chicago Clarinet Ensemble will premiere my Quartet #1 "Invincible Summer" and I recently completed a commission for Diana Haskell, Associate Principal Clarinet of the St. Louis Symphony. I write music...it's what I do.
