Ok, I am taking an acting course and I need a couple of ideas for a monologue. It needs to be from a play and one minute long....any suggestions?

Something from Shakespeare? Lady McBeth and Juliet come to mind, they have lengthy monologues that are well-known. If you need something more contemporary: Blanche from A Streetcar Named Desire ("He was a boy, just a boy when I was a very young girl"), or Roxie from Chicago ("I always wanted to have my name in all the papers")
