Introduce Yourself : Hello fellow creatives.... by John Steen

Hi I'm John, a long time San Francisco actor. I studied Meisner technique about 7 years ago which was life changing. I wish I knew to do that when I was younger. Many times over the years I wanted to move to LA to pursue the "dream," but I just can't seem to leave SF. (longer discussion) However, I am coming to LA in January to perform with a successful show I just finished in SF. It's very exciting and we're creating some buzz. It's the same 2 actors in 2 one-acts. AROUSAL is the first play where I play Clifford, a 39 yr old virgin with aspergers who hires a Ukranian prostitute. I love this play & character. The second is Harold Pinter's The Lover, about an english couple spicing it up. Both great shows. A total actor showcase. The shows will be at Theatre Asylum, The Lab in Hollywood.
