Acting : Dropping in to introduce myself..... by Terence Hartley

My name is Terence 'Terry' Hartley, I'm from Leeds, West Yorkshire. After reading through some of you lovely peoples profiles at random, I have come to the conclusion that I am ever so slightly out of my depth here.By this I mean that I am ever so slightly new to this field, to be honest, I have not done any acting since playing 'Toad' from 'Wind in the Willows' at school, and that was about 25 years ago. I have done a lot since then and lived in a couple of different countries. We (myself and fiance) moved back to the U.K in February of this year, whilst thinking about work prospects I had a flash of inspiration, "do what you wanted to do years ago" I thought "get into an agency and do some extra work, can't be that hard "......I thought. I did actually get an agent, but by this time I had taken a 6 month work contract to pay the bills and by the time I was available to work, the books were once again closed and I was not in them. I have applied to a couple of different agencies within my city who are looking for people to put on their books, but alas I have had no feedback from any as of yet, one of many I suppose.... Onwards and upwards on a daily basis... It would be great to make a few contacts and learn a few tips. Many regards to all Terry
