Acting : Reel Help! by Dana Winter

Hello, all! I'm thinking of putting together an acting reel, but I never have before, and I'm curious: Most of the projects I've been involved with were linked with film students' projects, and some of them don't have the greatest content/writing, but I don't really have that many to choose from. So my question is, should I even bother putting a reel together if I haven't done any professional film/TV work? And if so, how do I choose what to put it, and how long should it be?
