Introduce Yourself : Newer Series Creator by Dakota Kyle

Dakota Kyle

Newer Series Creator

Hello to you all!

My name is Dakota Kyle, and I am excited to be taking my first (baby?) steps towards becoming a creator by being here on Stage 32! I have been storytelling and developing characters as a hobby since I was 13, and since I now have more research on the field, I think it is time to spread my wings and present my newest creation (and very much a draft plan), "Daughter of the Wind"!

My biggest goal for being a creator is to help the people of the very world around us by presenting real struggles personally and around us to spread comfort, peace, awareness, and even save some people's lives. I aim to use my characters in my stories in this very way to express some kind of human struggle so people can relate and even heal.

I would love any kind of interest towards my series and would appreciate any kind of connections towards others looking to collaborate with me or even help me with the next steps in this exciting journey.

Have a blessed day, everyone!

Hi Dakota! Welcome! I'm new out here too. I would love to hear more about Daughter of the Wind. Maybe put a short description on your bio. I love stories with strong female protagonists.

Appreciated! I didn't know how much to put in my bio, but I will go ahead and add some details there.

Hi, Dakota Kyle. Welcome to the community. Here's a blog that'll help you navigate Stage 32 and connect with creatives and industry professionals all over the world (www.stage32.com/blog/how-to-successfully-navigate-the-stage-32-platform-...). That's a great goal, and I hope the resources on Stage 32 can help you reach it!

Hi Dakota Kyle! I’m Ashley, Head of Community here at Stage 32. Welcome! I’m so glad you’re here and already thinking so deeply about the power of storytelling. “Daughter of the Wind” sounds like a beautiful project with such a meaningful purpose behind it.

One suggestion I would make is to consider uploading a real photo of yourself instead of a graphic. It can really help personalize your profile and make it easier for other creatives to connect with you and remember you.

If you’re looking for more ways to connect and keep building your project, I highly recommend joining the Screenwriting Lounge here: https://www.stage32.com/lounge/screenwriting

You can also reach out to our Success Team at Success@Stage32.com. They’re amazing at helping members navigate next steps and find the right resources!

Wishing you all the best as you move forward with your creative journey. Excited to see where it leads!
