Crazy to think in two months will be a year since I started with Stage 32. Time flies!! But I love doing what I do for this community. I work on the Member Help Team and it's great working with our members to get the best out of what we have to offer.
I always try to do a funky topic for "Introduce Yourself" weekend. But sometimes that well is dry and I can't think of anything lol so let's go with something basic (not usually my style lol)
What's everybody watching?
I am caught up on Grey's Anatomy (I"m a "seen every episode" fan lol). I first started watching right before the start of Season 10 and I was able to binge watch it so much, that I got caught on 10 and a half seasons in a little bit less than two weeks lol I binge watched before binge watching had a name!
Need to get caught up on "The Last of US" my allergies laid me low yesterday so I wound up crashing and going to bed early and didn't watch it, but it's a fave in my house. My sister and brother in law are huge fans of the games and we love the series. Plus who doesn't love Pedro Pascal?!?! Also I love that Catherine O'Hara is on this season. I'm a 90s kid so I know as the mom from Home Alone lol but she's also the voice of Sally and Shock in "The Nightmare Before Christmas," which is my favorite movie. And of course, her portrayal of Delia Deetz in the Beetlejuice films (also favorites of mine. I'm a weird kid lol)
Working on a Korean drama on Netflix called "Glory"
Recently watched "Adolescence" and the prompting of my colleagues here at Stage 32 and boy oh boy is it good! Very poignant and the young man who plays the lead...this was his first professional gig and if this is where he's starting, he's going to have an epic career!! Also a lot of really great British talent. Alums from Game of Thrones, The Crown, and many others! Sidebar...Who remembers when FX did "A Christmas Carol" as a dark mini series? The actor that played Marley in that, Stephen Graham is not only one of the leads in "Adolescence," but he's also one of the writers and one of the EPs!!
Once the dust settles (maybe after this season of Grey's Anatomy is over) I want to try White Lotus (also something that my colleagues here at Stage 32 talk about a lot)

Hi Brandy Camille Nice to "meet" you again. What am I watching? I just finished S3 of REACHER. and YELLOWJACKETS. So yesterday I started S5 of TRUE BLOOD. And next up will be S3 of DARK WINDS. and WHEEL OF TIME. And there are the standards that I have been watching for years, NCIS, and everything Dick Wolf. The new show I like is WATSON. It's a clever take on Sherlock Holmes. I like WILL TRENT a lot too.
I also put THE NIGHTMARE BEFORE CHRISTMAS on my favorites list. It's my go to Christmas movie.

Suzanne Bronson who doesn't love the whimsy of a soundtrack with Danny Elfman singing? I'm a huge Oingo Boingo fan so give me Dead Man's Party, Just Another Day, We Close Our Eyes...any day! I took my nephew, who is turning 9 this fall, to his first "big kid" concert and we went to watch a live to film performance of the score to The Nightmare Before Christmas. Needless to say, it was a core memory for the both of us.

I don't know how Shonda Rhimes has produced the sheer amount of television she has in the past however many years. I started re-watching How To Get Away With Murder for the first time since it aired-- I MISS NETWORK TV (Abbot Elementary needs friends)!
The last show I watched that wasn't a rewatch was "Gordita Chronicles", a comedy made by a racialized woman. No one seems to have heard of it, let alone seen it, so I have no one to talk to about it!
