Introduce Yourself : Hello! by MIster Erock

MIster Erock

Hello!

Playwright, screenwriter, novelist, actor, AEA stage manager for 35 years. Currently writing and producing Kokomo City Grapevine, a podcast (or radio show, as they were known in the olden days when we used typewriters and dictionaries and white-out and AI was total science fiction, but I digress…).

Maurice Vaughan

Hi, MIster Erock. Great to meet you. I remember using white-out growing up. Sometimes I used too much and ruined the paper. Haha I suggest adding a profile picture. People will feel more comfortable networking and collaborating with you if they know what you look like. And if you have a picture, your profile will show up when someone searches for you.

Hey, MIster Erock! Congrats on your podcast! As the Community Manager here, I did want to give you a few pointers on how to maximize your presence on Stage 32.

1) Please add a picture to your bio. Stage 32 was built to build relationships, but people have a hard time trusting people without a face.

2) This goes for your name as well. If your IMDb credits are not listed as Mister Erock, then neither should your Stage 32 name.

3) And this one is SUPER important - try asking questions. Even if it's just - "check out my podcast and let me know - what do you think?" It gets a conversation started, and every conversation get you closer to getting to know a new friend, associate, crew or employee, or even a partner.

Ashley Renee Smith

You’ve got such a wealth of knowledge, and I know other members would benefit from your insights and experience.
