Introduce Yourself : The Song Beneath the Silence by Purushothaman Anantha Krishnan

The Song Beneath the Silence

Hello everyone, I'm Purushothaman, and I'm excited to join this amazing community!

I’ve just published my debut novel on Amazon KDP titled The Song Beneath the Silence: The Earth Remembers—a speculative tale that explores memory, consciousness, and our deep connection with nature.

The early reviews have been encouraging, and a few readers have even mentioned that the story feels cinematic in its scope and atmosphere.

As someone new to Stage32, I’m still learning how things work here. I’d love to connect with screenwriters, producers, or anyone interested in adapting novels to screen. My goal is to explore whether this story could translate into a visual medium—and I'd appreciate any guidance on how to pitch or whom to approach within this platform.

Looking forward to learning, collaborating, and contributing!

You're welcome, Purushothaman Anantha Krishnan. Here's a post with tips on turning a book into a script: www.stage32.com/lounge/playwriting/Let-s-Talk-Adaptation-Turning-Your-Bo...

Stage 32 also has a webinar called "How to Adapt a Book Into a Film or Serie" (www.stage32.com/education/products/how-to-adapt-a-book-into-a-film-or-se...).

Once you have a script, you could post it on your profile. Producers search profiles on here for projects. Click the gear symbol in the top right-hand corner and select “Edit profile” in the drop-down menu. Scroll down to “Loglines” and click “Add/edit loglines” to the right of “Loglines.” You can also post your script on your profile this way: www.stage32.com/loglines (near the top where it says “Add a Logline”)

You could enter a Stage 32 contest (www.stage32.com/scriptservices/contests). If you win a contest or place as a Finalist, Stage 32 will send your work to agents and literary managers who are seeking new talent as well as other industry professionals. If you don't see contests that fit your script, keep an eye on the Contest Page. Stage 32 will be adding more contests.

You could also pitch your script to executives, managers, etc. through Stage 32's Pitch Sessions (www.stage32.com/scriptservices/pitch-sessions). The Pitch Sessions are mainly to get feedback on pitches, but members have gotten managers, signed shopping agreements, etc. through the sessions (www.stage32.com/scriptservices/success-stories).
