I've submitted a few of my scripts for the Script Pipeline Screenwriting competition and was just wondering if anyone has had any success with it?

I didn't have any success with it myself but I did rather like the feedback they gave me and they were helpful with questions I emailed in. Their competition is really tough ^^;

Not sure there is enough value there. These competitions are not necessarily true barometers of one's work. Although they intend objectivity, you are still subjected to the opinion of one, perhaps two readers. If one of them has a bias towards or against your genre, does that read truly represent the worth of your script? Having dipped my toes in just about all of them over the years, only the Nicholl Fellowship has a real inside track to movie making. Reach the semis with Nicholl and you get requests to read from companies that would never answer your query before. It's the only one where that happens. Good luck.

Have submitted 8 times to the Pipeline outfit, as screenplays and book mss. Nothing, nada, no notes or feedback provided. Utter waste of time and $$$.

I won their adaptation contest through the Book Pipeline side of things, but it's the same people. They've been great to work with so far, and now that I'm writing screenplays they're working with me on that as well.

Hi guys, thanks for the feedback. Michael Valente I submitted an evaluation on the blacklist for one of my feature scripts. I hope it gets an 8!

I avoid script pipeline and advise all writers to do the same. SP gives nothing in return for your entry not even a rejection note. They insist on a blank title page, they don't want to see awards or reviews. I won the London Film Awards and these arrogant assholes rejected the work because it was on the title page and I wasn't aware it was against their amatuer rules. Don't waste the fee.

I have also submitted scripts with no success. Film Freeway, however, is great. I have received 19 awards from International film/screenwriting festivals for one of my feature film scripts. no joy in follow-ups even with three 1st place wins. BUT it's great to receive a laurel!
Best
