Hi gang. I've writing for years. Hundreds of published articles, short stories, and 5 (so far!) novels. Most of what I write is in the faith-based arena. More recently I took a script-writing course at Movieguide and am now moving into screenplays along with my regular fare. So, while I've been storytelling for years, I'm relatively a newbie at writing scripts but am having fun studying this art. My first script was mainly a learning experience. My second became a Top 10 Finalist in the Kairos Prize competition, so I feel I'm making progress, lol. Blessings!

Nice to meet you. I have been writing for a number of years and I still struggle to adhere to the accepted practices of script writing. Congrats on trying a new outlet for your creativity.

Thank you, Maurice, Jack, and Matthew! Although a story is a story, scripts are totally different from novels. To excel, I will have to toss out much of what I learned about novel writing and learn the standards for a lean, solid script. Such a fun challenge.
