Entry 021
This past week has been a whirlwind—so much has happened, and it’s all starting to stack up in a way that feels real.
Early in the week, I met an incredibly talented artist named Becca. She’s amazing at what she does—her drawings have a unique energy to them. After a great conversation, it was obvious she needed to be part of the team. I’m excited to see how she contributes and where this collaboration takes us.
At the same time, I’ve been receiving a flood of phenomenal submissions from creatives. The level of talent is unreal, and while I love seeing so many people interested in this project, it makes the selection process tough. I hate having to turn people away, but it’s part of the game. I just have to make sure I build the right team to bring this vision to life.
Midweek, I had the opportunity to pitch the pilot documentary tied to the kickoff event. It’s meant to give people a deeper look into who I am and what I’m building. The feedback has been solid so far, but I still have more people to pitch to. It’s a good start, and I’m ready to keep pushing forward.
I also spent a lot of time reaching out—emails to platforms, companies, brands, and even some old friends. Every message, every conversation is another step toward making this event happen. It’s a lot of typing, a lot of following up, but that’s exactly why we have technology—to make it easier.
By the end of the week, things really started moving. I managed to bring a baker on board for the music event—her work is incredible, and I’m excited to see what she creates. There are still some details to iron out, but I’m looking forward to making it happen.
I also met an artist named Gio. His work speaks for itself, but what really stood out was his perspective. We had a deep conversation, and I found his mindset refreshing. We’re definitely on the same page creatively. I won’t go into all the details, but let’s just say I’m glad to have another great artist joining the team.
On top of all that, I checked out a potential venue—definitely a cool spot. It has the right vibe, though I still have a few more to look at before making a decision. Piece by piece, it’s coming together.
Along the way, I crossed paths with some interesting people—a woman who works with plants, some folks doing pottery, even a few baseball players. It’s wild how different walks of life intersect at moments like this. Seeing it all unfold made the week feel even more alive.
As things speed up, I know I have to stay on top of it all. There’s still a lot to do, but I can feel the momentum building. I might have another meeting focused on the music event soon, so I’ll see how that plays out and adjust from there.
I can’t wait to see everything come together. This event isn’t just for me—it’s for the people who believe in it, who want to see The Timid Bunny? come to life. That’s what keeps me going. One day, I’ll be telling stories about all of this. But right now, I’m in it, and I’m holding on.
