Hi everyone! I am Will an aspiring film producer and screenwriter based in Virginia. I am looking to grow my portfolio and network with other filmmakers. I have written short films, acted as director and cinematographer, and worked as a freelance production assistant for the ABC Network in the past on a few projects. I also interned at the Cannes Film Festival during my undergraduate college years ( back in 2010). I got my master's degree in film producing in 2020.
I would love to help someone on their projects or collaborate and write new film scripts or assist with marketing, casting etc. Feel free to message me or add me as a friend. I really want to grow and excel this year!
Hi, William R Ward. I’m a Stage 32 Lounge Moderator. I wanted to let you know I moved your post from the Screenwriting Lounge to the Introduce Yourself Lounge since you're introducing yourself.
I also moved your post from the Producing Lounge to the Your Stage Lounge. The main Lounges (Screenwriting Lounge, Producing Lounge, Filmmaking/Directing Lounge, etc.) aren't places to find collaborators. They're places to discuss topics that are helpful/educational to the community, share advice and resources, and get feedback.
Also, Stage 32 doesn't want members posting the same thing in multiple Lounges on the same day because it can clog up the Lounges and other members’ posts won’t be seen.

Sam Rivera nice to meet you as well. I have a few projects in development phase.
One is is a short film called Bullied that's a drama/ thriller with a ground hog day premise. It's follows the story of a popular college student who has to come to terms with a child hood friend being bullied and committing a horrible tragedy.
Second is a feature film that's super hero inspired that follows a young man during the civil rights era and becomes a super hero. It's an alternate take on real world events.
Third is another Feature film that has a treatment called "Murder in La La Land". It's a comedy that follows a film production assistant who gets caught up in a murder mystery in Los Angeles and parodied Los Angeles and The Hollywood industry.

Welcome, I actually grew up on the NC/VA line. you seem to have taken on many roles. Is there one that drew you into the industry, or was it the industry that drew you in?
My hat is off to you. when I was a teenager I wasn’t willing to take to risk and try my hand. (Something the adult me is now having to pay for)
