Hi, Richard Zelniker here, the producer/co-writer/director of The Vortex. Thrilled to tell you all that my movie is playing theatrically in 5 cities, including LA, Pittsburgh, Orlando, Chicago and Indianapolis. For the LA people, please come out to Laemmle NOHO7 in N.Hollywood. I'm an independent filmmaker who managed to get the movie into theaters with an amazing partner, Brodrick Haygood of Moon Howler and with my producing and writing partner, Callie Nguyen Zelniker who co-wrote the ROMCOM Following Brendan with me that won us the Stage 32 RomCom contest back in 2022. Currently, The Vortex is playing in LA theaters only until Thursday, Feb. 20th. We're asking all filmmakers and writers to please come out and see the film. I'll be attending the last show of the day, the 7:30pm show and will stay for a Q&A after each show this week. We can talk about how I got the film made to distribution and production and everything in between.
