I’m the founder of the Lower Alabama Media Project (LAMP), an initiative focused on developing a thriving media ecosystem in our region. My background is in program management, but I’ve recently pivoted into screenwriting and media development. Through LAMP, I’m working to bridge gaps in education, workforce training, and industry connections to help grow sustainable media opportunities in the South.
I’m here to: * Learn from others about what makes a media ecosystem work * Explore education and workforce development for film, TV, and media * Connect with potential advisors, collaborators, and like-minded creatives
If you have insights into regional media growth, economic impact, education in film, or industry trends, I’d love to hear your thoughts! Also, if you’re working on something interesting, let me know—I love hearing about new projects.
Looking forward to meeting folks here!

Glad to have you here Aiden! I"d highly recommend checking our Stage 32 Certification (top menu bar under "Certification": https://certification.stage32.com/ ) We've spent the last 7 years developing workforce training to fill the skill gaps we've noticed for productions worldwide. You should connect with our head of Certification Sam Sokolow, as well!

Hey Aiden Barr - welcome to stage 32! I'm not too sure if it's just the companies name or if you are from there but I was born in Alabama, raised in Texas. There's a lot of great people to learn from and connect with on here. Pop into different lounges, connect on post, engage with people. I've connected with a lot of helpfully and resourceful individuals on here.
