I am writing a 6th movie script for the Pirates of the Caribbean movie series and I am doing it without having been approved by the producer of the movie...I need to be chosen as the screenwriter of the movie but I will try to do it without being an insider in the movie industry, with my half-assed cinema education that I researched on my own, without any professional and amateur experience - qualifications, so I am gambling my life, you see. I am trying to enter the movie industry so that the producer of the movie will accept me and my script and choose me as the screenwriter of the movie, I want to enter the movie industry so that the producer of the movie will have an official screenwriter that he can take seriously! But I have a problem; I didn't get training in screenwriting from an official screenwriter, an official institution (like a school) or a screenwriting workshop, for 3 years (if I'm going to enter the movie industry, I have to get training first), I got training from various unofficial sources on the internet but from within the industry and I trained myself. I'm being sarcastic! I already said it, but let me repeat it again, I don't know how to enter the movie industry and how can someone in my situation enter the industry? My goal is to take part in a few productions and strengthen my hand and to be able to face the producer of the Pirates of the Caribbean movie with a trump card in my hand. I want to enter the cinema/film industry, but as I have been told so far - and this is also true in other fields - in order to enter the cinema/film industry, you need to be a person who watches a lot of movies and reads a lot of books, but I am not such a person and I want to enter the industry despite this deficiency. Unfortunately, due to some special circumstances, I cannot physically participate in any film festival, workshop, online video interview and script competition because I do not speak English. In order to enter the industry, I want to study cinema, radio and television education from a to z without going to school, but due to my life conditions, I don't have time to study for a long time and with this lack of education, I want to enter the cinema industry by learning cinema as much as possible.

Hi Mustafa, glad to have you here. Glad to hear you are inspired by the Pirates movies. You are correct in that you won't be able to shop a Pirates script without getting the rights to the film, however, you can use it as a writing sample / spec script to showcase your writing talent to go out and find a rep. You're in the right place on Stage 32 to educate yourself on how the industry works and I'd recommend reading our blogs (top menu bar "blogs") and taking some of our education (top menu bar "education") to continue to educate yourself on navigating the industry. Wishing you good luck as you enter into the industry!

Mustafa, your ambition is powerful. Keep studying how stories are shaped and try to view some movies with a strong narrative. What language (s) do you speak/write/read?

Hey, Mustafa Denizhan Utaş. It would be fun to write a Pirates of the Caribbean movie. Stage has screenwriting resources that'll help you get better at writing scripts.

You can make a career as a screenwriter by building up a portfolio of original scripts. I suggest starting with micro-budget scripts since it's usually easier to sell them than low-budget, mid-budget, and big-budget scripts.
And I suggest networking. Network, network, network. Here are some blogs about networking: www.stage32.com/blog/tags/networking-41

Pirates of The Caribbean is not the only game in town and quite frankly the franchise is in Code Blue with Disney's track record leaning towards it dying on the table. Why not go completely original with no established boundaries to corner your creativity. I'm not sure whose making the decisions at Disney, but they completely dropped the ball with Indy and The Dial of Destiny(although I liked that film. People just didn't get it.) They completely destroyed Star Wars. I could write a Jar Jar Binks series that would do better than anything they've come up with. Marvel, which has been around 1961 (1939 if you count Timely Comics) and in 6 years after Endgame Disney has pretty much destroyed that franchise as well. Their ship is sinking faster than the Black Pearl with a hull breach the size of a blue whale.
Start from scratch and make up your own characters. If it's great, they'll be a market for it. With enough buzz, Disney may ask to read your screenplay and then screw it ... I mean buy it up for their Pirates. That's the path you should take in my humble opinion.

First of all, I would like to express my gratitude to you for writing a comment and valuing someone like me. there is only one thing I don't understand in your comment, you told me to use the pirates of the caribbean script I have - which I am currently writing - and which I don't own the copyrights to, as a writing sample/custom script and to look for an agent, what I don't understand is: how do I do that?

Honorable Mr. Vaughan. good to see you again. thank you very, very much for all the links and advice you have given.
Dear Mr. Philip, it is very nice to meet you. First of all, thank you very much for commenting and finding me worthy of commenting. I understand and know very well what you want to express to me. Pirates of the Caribbean movie series is a movie series that was ruined by its own producer/producers. However, there is a situation like this; I think that I have saved the Pirates of the Caribbean series from the ashes like a phoenix. I will also fight against the producers of the series to fix the production, why because the Pirates of the Caribbean movie series is my home in my life - I see the series as my home. If you do not misunderstand the script I wrote, I cannot share it with anyone, but I can say that I wrote the script that actually needed to be written for the series.

Mustafa, in your original post you said "because I do not speak English" that's why I asked about what languages you use. I speak French, some Spanish and some Arabic. That's why I was asking.
