Introduce Yourself : Experienced Screenwriter, Producer, and Script Consultant by Christopher Moore

Hey Stage 32! My name is Christopher D. Moore and I was born in Atlanta, Georgia with a passion for creative writing. I'm based out of Los Angeles and have a very interested origin story. Growing up in the 1900s, I was a latchkey kid who had to occupy myself with mid-day television before my mom came home from work. I am the definition of a multi-hyphenated artist: film producer, screenwriter, musician, and content creator. My earliest work in creative writing starting with poetry. Then, I developed a passion for long form storytelling. I successfully completed a creative career at Savannah College of Art of Design with a bachelor of arts in Television Producing. I've produced content like music videos, live events, and podcasts about mental health on the trendy app HeadSpace. Currently, I work as a Development Executive at The Artistic Standard, creating scripted and unscripted content for cable, streaming, and digital platforms. My daily duties include creative brainstorming, coordinating schedules, paper development, pitch decks, and cutting sizzle reels. Within the past year at The Artistic Standard, I’ve produced three high-quality short films ("Legacy", "F*ck Your Turkey In The Straw'', "Save A Life") that have been selected to be a part of the Micheaux Film Festival, Los Angeles Lift-Off Film Festival, and Martha's Vineyard Film Festival respectively. Our company has a three-year licensing deal for a total of eight short films streaming on the digital platform AllBLK under the short film category. One of my goals for 2023 is to network and build with industry professionals who look like me. Television has so much power and influence on society that I wouldn't want to work in any other industry. I would love to build with a talented agency that can provide a range of opportunities that will allow me to showcase my warm Southern personality. I've had examples of mentorship around me through the advice of Geno Brooks, Virgil Williams, and Carl Seaton. It would be a dream come true if I could partner with a company that values diverse talent through digital content and branded entertainment.
