Hello everyone,
it's been a long time since I've had anything to share, but last year was a blast for me. I published my first crime novel Plavalec (The Swimmer), about a young female police inspector in a wheelchair who messed up a massive case involving an international drug dealing network. As a result, her boss sends her on vacation to the seaside. However, on the second day of her vacation, she's swimming and comes across a corpse, which quickly ends her relaxation, and the work begins.
The novel features two intertwined stories; one is a noir take on a female ad agency owner where the murder happens, and the other is a whodunit where the disabled inspector tries to solve the case. So far, it has been well received.
Currently, I'm developing a limited series based on the novel, and I'm writing the second draft of the pilot. I'm planning to translate it into English and try to pitch it around.
Additionally, my publisher wants a sequel, so I'm working on the second part of the novel, which is due next year. It's an exciting time for me, and I'm grateful for it.
Thank you, everyone, and I wish you all a great Introduce Yourself Weekend and a productive year ahead! :)

As we like to say around these parts, you get out what you put in. Can't be found in the shadows. Hope you'll dive in and reap the rewards. Cheers!
