Hi, everyone! This is my first time in this lounge, and I wanted to share some of my writing experiences. Recently, I sent the pilot script of my Anime project to Stage 32 coverage service, and while I still have some work to do, I received a "Recommend" as a writer.
Now, to explain the context a bit. I started working on an animated series project 15 years ago and wrote several drafts for the pilot. Unfortunately, due to many setbacks, I finally quit and decided to adapt the project's world into a tabletop RPG. It was a wise decision as it had some success, especially as an indie project. However, two years ago, I worked again on the idea of adapting my game into an Anime. I made a pitch deck that eventually caught the attention of a producer in Hollywood (thanks to Stage 32) and wrote a screenplay for the pilot (my first in almost nine years). So, being praised for my writing skills was not only a pleasant surprise but helped me get rid of my imposter syndrome (at least a little bit). So, in conclusion, if you're struggling as a screenwriter, the best advice I can give you is to keep that flame alive and don't quit.

Congrats Christian! My ideas have done the same over the years. I decided to create my manga with my ebook distributor. When an indie publisher told me I need to ‘learn how to draw’ I added more details to my work. Have thousands of followers on social media and have sold over 280 books. Their loss.
