Hey Creatives. I'd like to get your feedback on a recent pitch review I received. It was a good response but she assumed I was doing a series and therefore said to work on the look book, ETC and then get an agent or manager (review attached). I was surprised by this comment because getting an agent or manager is not an easy step at least for a feature. Just wanted to get your take on this review. Thanks and happy 2022!

It’s really worth $35 to pitch here! That is really encouraging. Good luck for the next draft.

Congrats on the great feedback, BL Gabriel (despite her thinking it was a series). You might have done this, but put up front that it's a feature when you pitch in the future.

Thanks Maurice. Do you know if it would be okay to quote her words and name in my future marketing efforts of the screenplay?
You're welcome, BL Gabriel. I'm not sure. You could ask Stage 32. I had great feedback in Nov. I mention the producer in the lounges on here. I haven't quoted his words though.

It’s good when pitching to make the format of what you’re pitching (feature/tv) clear at the very beginning, along with the rest of the functional information that is necessary. It means that the person reviewing your pitch isn’t having to guess and can concentrate on the rest of your pitch. It also means that the feedback is more relevant.

Hi Ewan. Yes I used the stage32 suggested format and indicated it was a feature. But she probably gets a lot of series in her inbox...
