Great tool for screenplay peer review

Hey, all!

So, I frequent a site called Coverfly, and in the past, it's been a great community for writers, with my favorite aspect being "Coverfly X", but lately it's been kind of barren and quiet, so I wanted to let other writers know about it. Please note, this is a plea for one of my favorite sites to become active again, I don't work for coverfly, and it doesn't cost any money at all to use the site anyway.

"Coverfly X" allows writers to post their scripts and offer "tokens" so that other users will read the script and provide constructive feedback. "Tokens" are gotten by reading other scripts, screenplays, books, shorts, etc., which you can then use to offer your own scripts, and so on.

Feedback is rated, and no personal information is provided in the script transfer, so the reader cannot contact you further (unless you provide that info in your script), and the writer cannot contact the reviewer further (unless they provide that info in their feedback), which helps keep it a pretty non-toxic community. So, if your feedback is great, your ranking will be great, and your feedback will be more desirable, which could lead to higher "token" opportunities (as writers can filter out low-rated reviewers).

It's so incredibly helpful, and I love the fact that it's self-sustaining. I've gotten a lot of great insight and notes on projects I've submitted. I haven't spent a time, and due to the culture of the site, I've felt comfortable uploading unfinished drafts for review or inspiration just to get another set of eyes on it.

Hope you all check it out, and help me revitalize one of my favorite websites! Hope to read some of your specs soon!

Aye. Aye. I love Coverfly too. I did a few peer reviews both giving and receiving, which was very helpful. And once a while you can submit your script for free into some of its partner festivals or script competitions. And I love its Redlist too. The loglines and writer bios are very interesting!

Sounds a bit like talentville which I think is still operating.
