Many years ago, the first script I wrote garnered the interest of two major comedy legends. We got to pitch it to a couple studio chiefs. It was about how the Cold War would end before it had ended. One studio guy said it "ahead of its time" which was silly. The other was indignant in telling us, "there's no way in hell the Cold War would end without a shot being fired." Wish I could ask him about his statement. :) By the way the story is even funnier now.
Hey, Rick Karslruher! Great to meet you, and welcome to the community! Yeah, feedback can be finicky. I noticed your bio said you had several projects ready to go, but you only have one logline listed - I would highly recommend listing all available projects so visiting members can more easily inquire about them!
I’m sure you’ve already discovered the Screenwriting Lounge (https://www.stage32.com/lounge/screenwriting), but definitely check out the Producing Lounge as well: https://www.stage32.com/lounge/producing
