Hello, I am a Writer/Director and Producer of my own films looking for a partner to work with...
I have been making Psych Thriller/Horror films for a decade now, many short films, written 12 (on 13) feature scripts and have made a low budget feature, but I want to move to the next level. I have found a small studio with relationships in Casting, Foreign/Domestic Distributors, Line Producers, Lawyers and more with a 20 year track record. The problem I have is they can not go in blind to their Financiers without Developing the film first.
I have put together a development package for a 750k-1 mill Psych Thriller and I'm looking for help in finding 75k-100k for Development...this will include all people mentioned associated with the studio (yes this is real and can be proven!)
I have 2 spec scripts that I want to get going, the 2nd has a 3 mill budget, so I'm trying to walk into this new level with around a 1 mill project 1st.
If you are looking for an up and comer to back and have connections, specifically to financing, then we can find a way to make money together in this business. I'm not a knucklehead, I know what I want and have found a way to make it happen with Development funding. This Development funding can come in the form of Debt or Equity financing, up to the investor. If Debt they can take their 120% and walk away, if Equity they can roll their money into the film itself for perpetuity investment.
I am also interested in Commercials and music videos!
So if you're serious, please say hello and we can talk further, I can share my spec scripts and we can see what works for both of us!

I'm curious why you don't start by making a small microbudget feature, selling it at AFM, and building a successful ROI track record yourself. There are many full-service production companies with the relationships you describe. But using one will up your budget significantly and rob you of the opportunity to learn things first-hand.
I'd suggest checking out the Blog at FilmSpecific.com to familiarize yourself more with the intricacies of feature film financing. Good luck!
Erik I've already made a feature, that I produced myself, but thanks. I know what it takes to get a film from blank page to screen, but 1 mill is like I said, taking me to next level...please take a look at my directing reel. No ones robbing me from anything!
And Dan yes, I know what development money comes from and what to do with it, I've already got this next film Line Produced, but thanks!
