So I did a pitch and the feedback was great! Marks were good but they passed. Not sure how to feel about it. Thoughts?

I think that's great that you received high praise from someone in the industry. Unfortunately, it wasn't exactly what they were seeking for whatever reason. Wouldn't it be great if you could wave a magic wand and know EXACTLY what someone was looking for (if they already know EXACTLY what they are looking for) and be able to pitch EXACTLY to that right person at the right time and in the right place? High praise is great, though....and congrats on that, Mikki Mikki!

Congrats on your script! And like what Bill said, many times they are looking for a very specific story or element. That fact that your feedback was great is amazing news! Your work is solid, you just need to find someone looking for your type of story. Best of luck and congrats!

Hi Mikki! Sometimes a story can be passed on simply because the take on it isn't the kind of thing they would do, even IF they dig the concept. If Steven Spielberg said to Disney "I want to do a GRINCH movie" they'd probably say yes. If Quentin Tarantino said "I want to do a GRINCH movie", they'd probably say no lol
