Hello I am currently looking for film funding for my U.k based horror film project. So far finding investment on the project has been a tall task indeed. I have tried crowdfunding but I have failed to reach my target audience. I am based in the Merseyside area of England and there is not much investment going around here. You might want to consider a co-production (no, this is not me offering) partner as this can bring in someone that already has the skills and funding to help get it done. The other thing we found was that it was important to have your ducks in a row so to speak, pitchdecks, budgets, etc needed to be done before approaching investors. Good luck.

Take a look at the Microwave scheme. There are still a number of funding initiatives aroun, even with teh demise of the Film Council - look at Raindance's site or get yourself a ccopy of the Guerilla Guide to Filmmaking.
