About Tatiana

I am an outgoing individual who thrives in a creative setting, has a strong foundation of knowledge across all areas of media production and flourishes when working with an excellent team. I will be graduating from The University of York with a predicted 2:1 in Film and Television Production. After three years of training in a television gallery I have gained experience in every role and I specialised in sound design and producing for my final year project. Interspersed with this gallery training I have gained a wide range of technical abilities. In terms of post-production, I am proficient in Premiere Pro, After Effects, Lightroom, Avid, Photoshop, Final Cut Pro X, ADR and Foley suites as well as Processing and Reaktor to test audio and video systems. I can proficiently work with all manner of cameras including Sony FS7s and 5s, RED Epic Dragons to standard DSLRs. I also directed and filmed a documentary that tackled a young man dealing with mental health issues via the avenue of comedy and this was screened at the LUMA film festival. I am seeking to pursue a role in an innovative company where I can achieve longevity and Sofa Club is an excellent fit. With niche designer sofas they need to be advertised and shown effectively on social media. I oversaw production from initial idea to delivery of a three-part television drama about the teachers in a failing school. I organised the entire production to ensure it ran smoothly as well as controlling the Β£3500 budget that was crowdfunded. Working closely with set designers, sound teams and the director allowed my skills as producer to hone and improve. I can bring this strong sense of content understanding and media production workflow allowing me to work effectively and to fit in perfectly to a team. Whilst interning at JOE media I assisted in a great deal of productions for corporate clients as well as informative content for the public. Focusing on post-production I was trained and tutored to instil discipline into scheduling with uploading content to the main site as well as editing raw footage down for either comedic or informative videos. I created gifs, captions, thumbnails and video titles that all worked effectively with social media algorithms to enhance the contents engagement. This internship gave me professional understanding of the digital media landscape and the post-production knowledge I have would be excellent to bring to the job. JOE media allowed me to interact with all forms of social media and to understand how to optimize content for each one. I was entrusted to edit videos and upload them precisely on schedule with captions, thumbnails and gifs I had created. I can bring these skills to a job as well as a creative mindset that has been curated at university. Furthermore, working as Website Content Manager for Countess Marquees gave me creative freedom to control their social media campaign, produce, edit and upload media to ensure that this business had an engaging online presence. Having editorial freedom was integral in furthering my ability in content production. Managing the social media for Countess Marquees and a small start-up restaurant Niku helped me tackle hurdles head on and independently, furthering the success of both businesses. After I enhanced the social media strategy of Countess Marquees the engagement and bookings they received online increased dramatically, this successful approach and understanding of current metrics is vital in creating content in the current climate. Some freelance work I have taken on recently is to edit together videos for the 14th most subscribed Twitch streamer, Bruce Greene. I contacted him to offer my services to edit his videos down for YouTube and he agreed. In terms of editorial content, I have to make sure the videos are short, entertaining and informative as well as making them uniquely Bruce Greene’s. I have gained the knowledge of adapting my skills to the client’s vision which I can enhance and improve with employment.
