Let's just say I've been around the block a few times... and then some. Twelve years in the media and entertainment industry? That's not experience, that's a survival badge. I've wrestled with rogue budgets, charmed temperamental actors (and sometimes, the catering staff was the real diva), and somehow managed to make deadlines that seemed about as achievable as a unicorn riding a bicycle.
My passion? It's not just crafting compelling narratives, it's crafting narratives that don't make people throw popcorn at the screen (though, I consider a mild popcorn toss a win). I also like developing products that resonate with audiences, which is a fancy way of saying I try to make stuff people actually want to watch, instead of just politely nodding and pretending they understood the "artistic symbolism."
My decade of globe-trotting wasn't just for collecting passport stamps. It was research, pure and simple. I needed to see the world to understand why some stories connect and others… well, don't. Turns out, people everywhere pretty much want the same thing: to laugh, to cry, to feel something other than the urge to check their phones.
As a marketing consultant, I put this hard-earned wisdom to good use. I can practically read an audience's mind (not really, but I'm good at guessing). I know what makes them tick, what makes them click, and what makes them share that hilarious cat video. And because I believe in paying it forward (and because I secretly enjoy the power trip), I've created the "dream machine" platform to nurture emerging talent. Think of it as a film school without the crippling student loan debt, or at least, that's the goal.
My production credits? Let's just say I've worn a lot of hats. Producer, Executive Producer, Line Producer... I've even been the "coffee fetcher" on a particularly chaotic shoot (don't tell anyone). Two feature films as Producer, three as Executive Producer – that's my way of saying I've wrangled enough cats to populate a small animal shelter. And the ads and films in the UK, Saudi Arabia, and India? Yeah, those happened.
Let's just say I've learned the phrase "lost in translation" in multiple languages. It's been a wild ride, and I wouldn't trade it for anything... except maybe a winning lottery ticket. But hey, a guy can dream, right?
