Over thirty years after first being bitten by the film-making bug, Douglas Brown once again picks up the camera and imagination to produce his first short film since 1975. The technology for film-making is better, but the process is the same. FOUND: Buried Treasure is the re-birth of a dream to make short films that make you think, and while the years of being away from film-making show in this production, the seed of imagination has been germinated once again. "FOUND: Buried Treasure" is a short film inspired by TV shows like LOST & FRINGE. The film introduces us to the character and story which are part of an online story and Alternate Reality Game (ARG) that blurs the perception of fact and fiction, using familiar TV characters who seem to spring to life and cross over boundaries that should not be able to be crossed.
