NICK LYON - DIRECTOR / WRITER / PRODUCER Director, writer and producer Nick Lyon has written more than 25 screenplays and directed six feature films and more than 90 minutes in award-winning commercials, music videos and shorts. After beginning a fine arts education in his hometown of Portland Ore., Nick traveled to Germany where he studied at the Film Academy Baden-Württemberg in Ludwigsburg. Nick is one of few American directors who speaks fluent German and works in both the German and American film markets. Nick's feature films include I Love You, Baby, a theatrical thriller produced by Warner Bros. Germany starring Academy Award winner Maximillian Schell; and indie drama Punk Love, which won awards at five international film festivals, including "Best Feature" in Roma Independent Film Festival and "The DGA Directors Award." Nick has also directed several successful TV event movies, which include Grendel for NBC/Universal/ SyFy; Annihilation Earth starring Luke Goss for NBC/Universal/ Syfy; Species: The Awakening for MGM; Bermuda Triangle Northsea, a $8 million television event movie for RTL Germany, starring Hannes Jaenicke and Bettina Zimmerman; and Zombie Apocalypse, starring Ving Rhames, Taryn Manning and Leslie Ann Brandt.
