A first look at HAUNTED — a project exploring what happens when traditional filmmaking meets a new generation of creative tools. This isn’t about replacing filmmakers with AI. It’s about hybrid filmmaking: combining storytelling, directing, editing, sound, performance, and human creative decisions with AI-assisted production techniques where they can strengthen the process. With HAUNTED, we’re experimenting with how these tools can help independent filmmakers build larger worlds, create more ambitious visuals, and push production possibilities without losing the most important element — the story. I wanted to share this first look with the Stage 32 community because I believe we’re entering a fascinating period in filmmaking, and the people experimenting now are helping define what this new workflow can become.
