The Dan Patrick Show had a laugh discussing my satire article: 'Unaware of Coronavirus, Nickelback Continues Tour of Playing to Empty Stadiums' during the height of the pandemic. This is one of the biggest sports talk shows in the country. Dan Patrick is a former ESPN SportsCenter anchor — one of the most recognizable voices in sports media — and his show runs on NBC Sports Network and is syndicated on hundreds of radio stations nationally. It also has a substantial YouTube and podcast following. The Dan Patrick Show is NOT a comedy show, which actually makes the mention more interesting as it means my comedy was crossing over into mainstream sports media audiences, not just traveling within comedy circles.
