Is baited diving good or bad for sharks? Dive operators say it's good. Well, the ones that are charging almost ten times the normal dive price are. Conservationists are divided. Yes, it's making more people more aware of the need to conserve sharks. But too many sharks are becoming conditioned to human proximity. A recent underwater attack on research diver Paolo Stanchi has justified that concern. Feeding may also affect sharks procreation patterns, enticing them to remain where the food is, instead of migrating to their natural pupping territory hundreds of kilometers away.
