Hollywood has been doing this for years. If your live recorded audio is less than perfect you you want to get it just they way you want it well you can dive in to ADR (audio dialogue replacement) This is the art of bringing your clients in to your recording studio and reproducing their voice. When you have the voice perfect (there is a plug in called Vocalign, not used in this production, that can with with that if your clients can't get the timing perfect) you now have perfect isolated studio quality voices that can now be mixed in to your film. You will have to ad sound elements to match the environment of your film look too tone or such as this video, wind and ocean.
