As a young teen, Scarlet was repeatedly raped by her step father. After finding the courage to finally strike back, she kills him and she flees in a panic. Alone and afraid, Scarlet is taken in by prostitute named Magda and both learn to live a life dependent on one another. In order to live, Scarlet resorts to the only thing she now knows-sex. Haunted by the demons of her past, Scarlet struggles to live in a world filled with violence and death.
