Mateus Gomes Dos Reis

Mateus Gomes dos Reis, known as Mateus Gomes or simply Mateus, is the sole child of Brazilian gospel singer and songwriter Edilene Gomes. Born in Gurupi in 2008, Mateus oversees and manages all of Edilene Gomes’ digital musical work. He and his mother began on the YouTube platform, publishing videos from “DVD Pássaro Livre”, a successful album by the artist. However, it was not until 2021, when the official video of the single “Tem Muita Unção”, included on “DVD Pássaro Livre”, surpassed 50,000 views, giving Edilene Gomes the recognition and notoriety she needed. From then on, Mateus did not stop helping his mother in her career, doing lives and even music videos. All releases now go through the review of Edilene Gomes’ team, the Edilene Gomes Team, which together with Mateus works 24 hours a day to ensure everything is going well, managing the singer’s work emails and contacts.

Through his hard work and dedication, Mateus has helped forge his mother’s career over the past few years. He frequently helps write Edilene’s social media posts, as well as update fans about her future projects and music releases. Mateus also oversees the visual programming of Edilene’s shows, ensuring everything is perfectly organized before and during the concerts.
