Hey Isiuwa, this is Leonardo from the Stage 32 team. I just wanted to let you know I moved your post from Screenwriting to Your Stage, as it fits much better there. The screenwriting lounge is for posting questions that benefit the community as a whole. We'd love to hear about your journey so please feel free to post a question that start the conversation. Let me know if you have any questions, and all the best to you!
Thank you so much Leonardo! I really appreciate you moving it to the right place — that makes perfect sense! I'm excited to share my journey and my stories here. I'll definitely post more and reach out if I have any questions. Thank you again!
Thank you so much Leonardo! I really appreciate your support! Quick question — do you happen to know any good sales agents, business agents, or buyers who look for original screenplays? I'd love to connect with the right people!
Hi Isiuwa Isaac - you're essentially hitting on the basic reason why Stage 32 exists. It's to take the time to make those connections on a relational level. I would encourage you to be active in the lounges and get to know folks. Support others and encourage them. That's how you get to know people. It's a marathon. As you do that, finish your script. You don't want to reach out to a buyer before your script is finished and polished.
Thank you so much Leonardo! I actually already finished Guardians of Humanity and shared it. I'm just taking time to polish it even more, and getting to know and support everyone here too. Marathon, not a sprint — I'm on it!
That means so much coming from you, Leonardo! Thank you! I'm putting in the work every day — learning, polishing, and showing up. I won't let you down!
You're absolutely right, Leonardo! I'm learning to just love every step of this journey. Showing up, doing the work, and growing — that's what truly matters. Thank you for such kind and wise words, they mean so much!
