I’m pitching stories that scare me.
Not because I don’t believe in them. Because I believe in them completely and that makes everything feel higher stakes.
When you’re pitching something you’re indifferent about the rejection doesn’t reach you the same way.
But when you’re pitching something you’ve lived inside — something that cost you — every no lands differently.
Learn with me.
I try to pitch anyway. To walk into rooms — real and virtual — and say this is what I’m making and this is why it matters without apologizing for how dark it is or how complicated the characters are or how the ending doesn’t wrap up the way people might expect.
The stories I’m developing deserve someone who will fight for them. And right now that someone is me.
I’m looking for directors and producers who respond to psychological complexity. Who want to make something that stays with people. Who aren’t looking for easy.
If that’s you, I'd love to connect with you.
What are you pitching right now? What are you fighting for?
