I live with emphysema, though I have never smoked a day in my life. Breathing isn’t always easy, but creating still is—and I refuse to stop.
Before my current projects, I spent seven and a half years establishing the Vilnius Jewish Public Library in Lithuania. I am not Jewish, but I believed it was important. Despite repeated setbacks and years of death threats, I saw it through. That experience taught me one of the most valuable lessons in life: keep going, no matter what.
Today, I pour that same determination into my creative work—not for fame or fortune for myself, but to secure a future for my son. Every song I write, every project I develop, is for him.
If there’s one thing I want to pass on, it’s this: whatever your dream is, keep going. The road may be steep, the obstacles many, but persistence has a way of turning impossible into reality.
