For almost a decade now I have been trying to navigate the swampy waters of writing a horror story/script based in Florida. Finally, I think I have something here with telling a story based on the growth the region has seen in the last few years, the politics of the state, and the people who once governed the land hundreds of years ago.
So far the script has taken shape as a story of modern-day imperialism meets John Carpenter's The Fog.
