Hi everyone, my name is Nzoko Aris Kosi. I’m an emerging writer/director based in London, currently developing a slate of five short film projects under my creative banner Verdant Echo Pictures.
The concept is slightly different from a normal short film slate. Each project is designed as a short film that transitions into a music video within the same creative world, with five separate music videos connected to the five films. So the plan is not just to make standalone shorts, but to build a wider visual and musical project where story, character, atmosphere, and music all work together.
The films sit across different tones and genres, including psychological drama, dystopian fiction, dark comedy, crime, and more conceptual character-led storytelling. Each one has its own visual identity, but they are all part of a bigger independent creative direction.
I’m looking to connect with producers, assistant producers, cinematographers, editors, sound people, music video directors, and other serious creatives who are interested in helping build something from the ground up.
At this stage, I’m especially looking for people who can help with the practical side of production: planning, budgeting, locations, scheduling, crew, shoot logistics, music video structure, and getting the projects ready to film properly.
I’m not looking for people who just talk about making films. I’m looking for like-minded people who want to actually create, collaborate, and help build a proper independent body of work.
