Hi everyone,
I'm Muhammad, a founder currently building something in the independent film space called XineRent.
I’ve been speaking with filmmakers and production teams recently to better understand a core question:
What actually makes filmmakers trust a new platform that claims to support film distribution or digital premieres?
Not in terms of marketing promises—but real trust factors like transparency, control, audience reach, revenue clarity, and how a platform proves it’s legitimate before the first film even launches.
From your experience, what matters most when deciding whether to try a new distribution or screening platform?
I’d really appreciate honest perspectives from filmmakers, producers, and anyone who has dealt with film distribution challenges.
Thanks for your time,
Muhammad
