What stands out to me is how quickly it’s moved from a buzzy niche success into a globally distributed property. It didn’t start as a massive studio tentpole, it built momentum, found its audience, and now it’s being picked up across multiple territories.
At the same time, you’re seeing platforms like Sky bundling acquisitions, picking up Heated Rivalry, YAGA, and Superfakes together, which speaks to how buyers are curating slates, not just individual titles.
It raises a few interesting questions around distribution strategy:
How much does early audience response now influence international sales compared to traditional packaging?
