Revisiting The Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe — and it still feels timeless.

I first watched it as a kid, and watching it again today brought back a wave of memories. What stood out even more this time was how emotionally grounded the story is beneath the fantasy.

Despite being years old, it still feels fresh — a reminder that strong storytelling, character emotion, and world-building never age.

There’s a lot to learn from films like this, especially in how they balance adventure, mythology, and emotional depth in a way that remains accessible to a wide audience.

My recently completed feature screenplay THE HIMALAYAN GATE also explores a similar fantasy/adventure space, with additional layers of mystery and sci-fi — something I’ve been consciously developing with that same sense of emotional core and discovery.

Would love to hear what others here think about films that feel timeless even years later.
