Lock Her Up by Tina Parker. "It is an examination of the platitudes, misdiagnoses and treatments administered to women who needed succor not restraint, understanding not punishment; women who had been set aside by their families or bored husbands, were abused, widowed or their children dead or taken from them."

My review: this collection of poems is so f@!#ing good. It's one of my all-time favorite collections. I know, I know. That's one of the least poetic reviews of a poetry collection ever. But sometimes you have to tell like it is. :)

Blast Radius by me. lol Seriously, yes I wrote it. This book is a powerful examination of the devastating effects of Combat PTSD on every aspect of a veteran's life.
