Because each of us are more than our perceived labels. Because everyday we keep friendships that cross lines of personal politics, sexual orientation, religious beliefs and more. Because the odd couple pairing is a delight. Because there's rarely three dimensional of representation of boyish women who look like me on television (Except for maybe you, Ellen D!). Because what does boyish even mean anyway? Because this (where it applies) is not a coming out story. It's a story that catches audiences up to a group of androgynous women and their non androgynous friends ten, fifteen years later - after whatever it is we were so sure of in our 20s. A group of newly 30 somethings, from varying backgrounds who have one thing in common: struggling to hit milestones and being afraid that when we do, it'll be far from what we want.
